    Romance in Your Ears

I hope everyone had a great holiday! Last week, I was on a deadline, but this week I’m back. (You can hear the pitch revving up: “Who wants to write a guest blog?” I’d like to feature tips for writing in some of the different subgenres.) What’s your name, man?

Our holiday party was a flaming(o) success!  Seriously, there were so many flamingos, from the 2-foot-tall flamingo statue to the flamingo music box to flamingo statues, ornaments, and the like. Rising to a challenge

We’ve had quite a year in the TARA book challenge, and the competition is drawing to a close. Many TARANs entered books in the challenge earlier this year, and Renee’s 100×100 and 200×100 challenges kept many of us on track. (Thanks, Renee!) For those of you who have finished your 40,000-word draft (or more than one)—I salute you! Whatever stage of “finished” it’s…
